September 10, 2024 - Today, President McCallum extended the tax filing deadline. President McCallum issued the directive to postpone tax filings until July 2025. The tax filing extension was approved by the Director Of Our Agency.

We will hold off on collecting tax filings until July 1, 2025. Filers who file before that date will likely get their tax return payments up to two-three months before those who file between April and July. Filers will be required to have a tax return filed by July 1, 2025 by midnight, or they will be issued delinquency status on their filing.

Tax Day is different all of the United States Of Jesstopia as state's determine when to collect taxes. However, federal law requires the JRS, to set a filing deadline which is schedules for January 1, 2025, with an extension expected to be filed by President John McCallum sometime in October. 

The filing deadline, is often extended to allow families to collect important documents and other necessary resources to file their taxes. As such, our office usually requests the President to extend the filing deadline to meet those needs.
